This document describes the CV Unfold service in its current product version.
Necessary storage
We use local or session storage for privacy choices and safe campaign attribution. Optional LinkedIn storage retains an ad click identifier for up to 30 days after consent and remembers delivered purchases to avoid duplicates. A secure HttpOnly cookie keeps access to a private report. Report access and storage of your privacy choice are required for security or the requested service.
Optional measurement
Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn purchase measurement run only after you accept optional measurement. You can reject it as easily as accept it and reopen privacy settings from any public page.
Separately, we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier, so it needs no consent and runs on legitimate interest. It receives only the page address, stripped first: the private part of a report link is removed, report pages are reported without any query, and elsewhere only utm_ campaign labels remain. Advertising click identifiers are never sent there.
